We have added new protocols at Laser Dental Associates to protect patients and our team members against COVID-19 and other infections. Read about our new procedures below We welcome you to make an appointment at our open dentist office in Sterling Heights, MI! Feel free to call 586-977-9050 today.

Dear Patients,

We hope this letter finds you and your family in good health. Our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety.

Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice and you may have seen this during your visits to our office. Our infection control processes are made so that when you receive care, it’s both safe and comfortable. We want to tell you about the infection control procedures we follow in our practice to keep patients and staff safe.

Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We follow the activities of these agencies so that we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued. We do this to make sure that our infection control procedures are current and adhere to each agencies’ recommendations.

You may see some changes when it is time for your next appointment. We made these changes to help protect our patients and staff. For example:

-Our office will communicate with you beforehand to ask a few screening questions. You’ll be asked those same questions again when you arrive as well as we will check your temperature prior to entering our office. Prior to your appointment, we will also review your insurance information, if insured, as well as ask for credit card information.

-We ask you to wear a mask when you enter the office. We prefer that you bring your own preferred mask; however, if do not have one, we will provide one for you. Also we will provide nitrile gloves for you to wear while in our office. (Please dispose of them properly after leaving our office.)

-We will provide you a small, sealed bottle of oral disinfectant (Listerine) to rinse with once you are in the treatment room. Feel free to take the bottle home with you.

-Appointments will be managed to allow for physical distancing between patients. That might mean that you’re offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment. We will be staggering appointment times in order to minimize interaction between patients in our office.

-We will do our best to allow greater time between patients to reduce waiting times for you, allow adequate time for room disinfection, as well as to reduce the number of patients moving through our office at any one time.

-We ask that you limit the number of people escorting you to our office. We will allow only one additional person into our office accompanying our patient and that escort must either stay in the treatment room with the patient or, preferably, wait outside in their car. Our reception room is temporarily closed.

-We have added 8 air filtration/purification units to our office. These CDC approved HEPA and charcoal filter UV light units will remove up to 99.9% of airborne germs and viruses.

-Once your appointment is completed, we ask that you leave our office immediately. One of our great office staff will call you by phone to discuss the services you received, the fees, and any follow-up appointments.

We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you, and every patient, safe in our practice. To make an appointment, please call our office at 586-257-2081 or visit online form.

Thank you for being our patient. We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to welcoming back our patients, neighbors, and friends.

Sincerely,

Drs. Rosner, Pepa, and Staff
