A Comfortable Root Canal Experience
I was experiencing pain in the rear and stuff. And it’s one of those things that – the pain can be tricky. As I learned from Dr. Pepa is that I thought it was lower, an upper one. The pain was just radiating between up or down. I really couldn’t find out which one it was. And so coming here and being examined and going through the process and identifying. So, I would experience a level of discomfort, which brought me in. We X-rayed, we took a look at it, and we outlined what needed to be done regarding the root canal.
The comfort level for me, again, knowing I had the right person, Dr. Pepa, the comfort level comes again in making sure that I was numbed properly, and just getting at it and making sure that I was comfortable. And that was just part of, making sure my blood pressure was correct, make sure we’re doing it at the right time, because they’re looking at the big picture.
In my humble opinion, they’re not just a dental, but you know, they can say, “Hey, your health is all right.” I have a history with high blood pressure, as an example. So she wanted to make sure that the timing of that root canal was consistent, that my blood pressure was right, that I was taking my medication – those things that were making sure that I would be safe and that the root canal was at the right time as well.
I’ve had root canals prior to the 20 years before Laser Dental and Dr. Pepa. And that’s almost like a scary movie and happening, just to hear those words, “root canal” again. But we fast-forward, we do it the Laser Dental way. We do it the Dr. Pepa – who explains things, how it’s going to be done, putting you at a comfort level prior to the procedure, knowing what needs to be done.
And again, I use those big old words again, “trust.” I trust in Dr. Pepa. I know she’s doing the right thing. I know that she’s more than capable. I haven’t looked in the dental list of dentists that say that she’s number one, but she’s number one in my book. And I want to believe that wholeheartedly. That lies, that word “trust” again that I have in Dr. Pepa.
